■ CONSIDERATIONS BEFORE YOU CAPTURE
• 1 GB system memory (1.5 GB recommended)
• A qualified graphics card (as supported by system vendor); Avid recom-
mends the NVIDIA GeForceT4 Titanium graphics card or the card that
ships with G5 systems
• An IEEE-1394 (FireWire) port
• 20 GB or larger internal disk drive
• CD or DVD-ROM drive
If you do not have a FireWire port on your system or you are using the optional
Mojo, here are some FireWire card recommendations from Avid:
